Picnic Shelters
Norris Dam State Park has two picnic shelters, both located on the east side. Both shelters are equipped with picnic tables, grill and access to restrooms. Shelter 1 can accommodate 40 people and is first come, first serve. Shelter 2 can accommodate 80 people and may be reserved. Picnic shelters or pavilions may be reserved up to one year in advance.
Tea Room
The Tea Room is a popular venue for weddings and receptions, family reunions, company dinners and catered events. With the open amphitheater just across the street and cabin accommodations within walking distance, it is a beautiful and convenient location for these happy occasions. It sits approximately 100 people.
Built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Tea Room offers old fashioned charm with modern convenience. The building features a two tier floor plan, cathedral ceilings, a huge stone fireplace and a large wooden deck that overlooks the woods. There is a kitchen, but no cook ware/utensils are provided. The Tea Room may be rented by the day, Monday through Thursday. Weekend rentals, Friday through Sunday are a 3-day minimum.
Rates:
Daily: $250.00 plus tax
Weekend: $1,000 plus
There is an additional $3.00 reservation fee
Craft Room
Perfect for family reunions and birthday parties, the craft room can fit approximately 50 people. It has central heat and air and tables and chairs are provided. There is no kitchen, but outlets are available. The craft room is located next to the swimming pool.
Rates: $100.00 plus tax
There is an aditional $3.00 reservation fee.
Conference Room
The conference room is located at the park office and can seat 15 people. A table and chairs are provided.
Rates: $50.00 plus tax
There is an additional $3.00 reservation fee.
